The Musikkindergarten Berlin turns ten on September 5, 2015! The year 2014 –15 marks our tenth in operation. We are celebrating with all kinds of activities and events, including a July 9 benefit concert organized by the Friends of the Musikkindergarten, so please check our website for regular updates.

The parents’ choir is back, led by Annemarie Strauss, to focus on songs from the Musikkindergarten’s past annual projects.

The first rehearsal took place on May 5. The choir will meet in the music room every two weeks, on Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 4:45 pm. The next sessions are planned for June 4 and 18 and July 2 and 16, followed by the summer pause.

All parents, including those of kindergarten "alumni," are warmly welcome!

Reinhard Kahl continues his work on a film documentary about the Musikkindergarten. The end result will be a commercially available DVD that provides an in-depth look at the themes associated with the Musikkindergarten.
